Audition Procedures
** If Video Recording** Video Record the audition music from beginning to end in one take. You may pause in-between each technical exercise but you may not edit or splice your video.
Make sure you are recording in a well-lit area where you are easily seen by the camera. Violin/Viola will stand and Cello/Basses will sit. We need to be able to see the upper part of your body to assess posture and position. Stand back from your camera about 3-4 feet to accomplish that. Please refer to the sample videos listed below.
**Please Introduce yourself, the grade you are going into next year, and your instrument.**
2) You will complete a Note-Identifying Test. Click the link to your instrument and complete the exercise. You will have 2 minutes to identify each note. Once you've finished you will view your report and receive your verification code.
