The Cavalier Orchestra program was established in 2005. It currently is comprised of five string orchestras: Sinfonietta, Philharmonic, Camerata, Chamber and Symphony, and a Full Orchestra. Our concert season includes a Fall, Winter and Spring concert, Region orchestra, 'Bachs Office Hits' Pop Show, Early Music Contest at the Texas Renaissance Festival, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival and more. Students are given the opportunity to take private lessons during class or after school from a staff of CISD approved teachers. Students have graduated to pursue music education and performance degrees at institutions such as Sam Houston State, University of Texas, University of Houston, Baylor and the Juilliard School of Music.
